Surat ke : 1, Jumlah Ayat : 7, Juz : 1, ( Makkiyah, Madaniyah )

﴾١﴿oبِسْــــــــــــــــــمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

" Bismillahir rahmaanir rahiim "

Dengan menyebut nama Allah yang Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang.

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Mercif

﴾٢﴿oاَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ

" Alhamdulillahi rabbil 'aalamiin "

Segala puji bagi Allah, Tuhan semesta alam,

[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds

﴾٣﴿oاَلرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

" Arrahmaanir rahiim "

Yang Maha Pengasih lagi Maha Penyayang,

The Beneficent, the Merciful.

﴾٤﴿oمٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ

" Maaliki yaumiddiin "

Yang menguasai di Hari Pembalasan,

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense,

﴾٥﴿oاِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُ

" Iyyaka na'budu wa iyyaaka nasta'iin "

Hanya Engkaulah yang kami sembah, dan hanya kepada Engkaulah kami meminta pertolongan,

It is You we worship and You we ask for help

﴾٦﴿oاِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَ

" Ihdinash-shiraathal mustaqiin "

Tunjukkanlah kepada kami jalan yang lurus,

Guide us to the straight path,

﴾٧﴿oصِرَاطَ الَّذِ يْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ۙ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ ٱلضَّآلِّيْنَ

" Shiraathal ladziina an'amta 'alaihim, ghairil maghduubi 'alaihim wa ladh-dhaalliin "

(yaitu) Jalan orang-orang yang telah Engkau beri nikmat kepada mereka; bukan (jalan) mereka yang dimurkai dan bukan (pula jalan) mereka yang sesat,

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
